Establishing the first Loda yearly needs-based scholarship in OGS.

I am happy with the announcement of the winners of the first Loda scholarship in our beloved school (Loda is my grandfather’s nickname in Ondo) Pa. Jacob Olorunfemi was an industrious hard-working man I have ever known. They gave him this nickname because he was the first professional painter in Ondo Kingdom, his service was sort after by chiefs, churches, and other wealthy Ondo daughters and sons.
First and foremost, I would like to praise God Almighty for granting me the ability to start this scholarship/foundation, he or she have been good to me in all my undertaking.
This year scholarship was awarded to 4 students, two students were awarded a 40,000:00 Naira each and two were awarded 15,000:00 Naira each. I would like to thank the school principal, Mr. Omoniyin for his arduous work in finding these deserving students for this scholarship. I would also like to thank Mr. Fedrick Fadipe for his help in making this a reality, As the administrator of this scholarship, Mr. Fadipe worked closely with the principal in identifying these students and also worked very hard with the school bursar in getting these students tuition which were deposited directly to the school’s three bank accounts.
Finally, I would like to thanks my good friend Mr. Olu Fadayomi for his unwavering support and dedication to this cause, thanks brother for your advice and for spending your valuable time to read and rank these four students need based essays. The flexibility and dedication that you and Mr. Fadipe have proved on working with me to make this a reality is commendable and is the type of performance that tends to ensure success despite any clear obstacles.
